Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of helping countless religious organizations and schools update their buildings—carefully preserving the original character of each space.
Whether it’s matching existing millwork, refreshing cabinetry, or finding creative solutions to the unique challenges older buildings present, our goal is always the same: to provide the best possible options so our clients achieve the results they envision.
We work with local millwork shops to create unique and hard to find trim pieces, as well as fabricating and modifying our own
We are accustomed to working around schedules and celebrations within the organization to minimize disruption among the community
We create work schedules to share with the client and keep them informed so each person knows what will get accomplished each work week
“We hired Service Construction of Illinois to do a total demolition and best-of-class redesign of our master bath suite and a less extensive remodel of a guest bathroom. The owner Paul Saydak worked closely with us to offer great design options that reflected our goals and wise deployment of our money. He picked start dates for each of the two projects taking into account delivery dates of the materials we picked and his other commitments that allowed him to work on our projects continuously to completion, so we had no “down days.” He used his sources to get us great millwork and cabinets at fair prices. Once they started, his crew put in full days without interruption. Paul’s crew as well as his specialty subcontractors were very nice people to work with- we felt comfortable with them in our house for these lengthy projects – and their craftsmanship was flawless. The high-end designer we hired to advise on colors, materials and finishes told us the work quality was the best she’d seen and she took photos to show her other clients. Paul supervised closely and made sure we were fully satisfied at every step and even after the project was done. He is easy to reach and fully accountable. His prices are very fair in relation to the quality of service and workmanship he provides and just as important he is very fair with change orders. This wasn’t our first project with Service Construction of Illinois. In 2006 we gutted our kitchen, created an open first-floor plan, moved our laundry room upstairs etc. It was a big project. We bought best-of-class appliances and cabinets. Although we used a separate kitchen designer, Paul offered good ideas and the results were great – 14 years later, we still love what he did for us on our main floor. That project led us to hire Service Construction over the past 14 years for many small and large jobs (e.g., roof and skylight replacement, window replacement, new driveway). I have recommended Service Construction to my partners and clients, and they have also been very pleased.”
