Back in winter of 1975, Paul Saydak was working at a local tool and die company when he decided to take on a small side project: renovating his mother’s kitchen as a Christmas present. That first job turned out to be a success, and more importantly, it sparked something in Paul. He realized he’d found his passion, and before long he made the leap from the factory floor into the world of construction.
The next spring, Paul built a deck for a neighbor. One happy homeowner turned into another, and before he knew it, Paul’s entire summer was spent building decks all over the neighborhood. Each project brought new lessons, new challenges, and a growing reputation for quality work.
Over time, Paul tried his hand at just about every trade, slowly shaping himself into a one-stop shop for all things construction. What set him apart was his willingness to take on the tough jobs—the ones most people said couldn’t be done—and find a way to make them happen.
As the years have gone by, Paul has begun passing the company on to his son, Michael, and to Ben Bohlen. Together, they carry forward the same passion, work ethic, and values that Paul started with all those years ago, ensuring that the company’s story keeps growing with every project.
